Loose ring McGenis Roller Balotade® Bit. Pre-loved but in excellent condition! 5" (125mm)

Made of stainless steel, it has three small copper rollers mounted on both sides of a slightly curved mouthpiece. Mac-Genis bit rolls are designed to roll on the jaw. Thanks to this, they prevent the phenomenon of “crossing the mandible”. What’s more, thanks to the use of copper in rolls in combination with stainless steel, the bit supports salivation, which significantly affects the degree of acceptance of the bit by the horse.

The single-jointed tendon used in this type of bit exerts pressure on the sides of the tongue, lips and lower jaw. By creating the so-called the phenomenon of the “nutcracker”.

The tendon is 16 mm thick.
