Bombers Eggbutt Titanium McHardy Elliptical Dressage

The Eggbutt cheek piece prevents pinching of the lips and gives a solid feel against the side of the face. It also prevents the bit being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower than the loose ring and also introduces light poll pressure.

The McHardy Elliptical Dressage slightly softens the tongue pressure, the lozenge is flattened so that it spreads pressure out over a bigger surface area. 

Cheekpiece

The cheekpiece is available in 2 sizes, standard and a slightly smaller model for a pony.

Mouthpiece

Bomber recommends the McHardy for horses that show signs of being tongue sensitive and get a little low in front.  The titanium lightens the mouthpiece which will encourage the horse to take a little more contact
