The Dee Ring is similar in action to the Eggbutt, it prevents pinching and gives a slightly more solid feel against the cheeks. This prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower and some slight poll pressure is introduced.

The Bombers Control Plate is set at 45 degrees to follow the contour of the horses tongue. Best suits a horse that accepts tongue pressure. For the horse that shakes its head up when in a snaffle. The Dressage Control plate is narrower than the conventional Control Plate and therefore applies more tongue pressure.
