Bombers Fulmer Loose Ring Ported Barrel

The Fulmer cheek piece will prevent pinching on the sides of the mouth, and the extended pins above and below the bit, firstly prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth and secondly aid guiding the horse’s head which is great for schooling purposes. The Loose Rings make the bit less fixed in the mouth which encourages acceptance of the bit, and removes poll pressure.

The central barrel allows for a separation of reins aids, enabling a fine tuning of communication. The limited movement of the barrel allows the port to adjust to fit a wide range of mouth configurations. The adjustable port allows the horse to maneuver pressures between its tongue & bars.

The bits are made from blue sweet iron: oxidizes easily, encourages salivation, helps bit acceptance and is warm and sweet.  They do fade  to brown with oxidation
