The best of the Happy Tongue and the Ported Barrel! Similar to the Ported Barrel in that the Pivot Ported will take pressure off the tongue however, the contact is more stable due to less movement in the mouth piece.    The Pivot Ported allows for more independent lateral aids than the Happy Tongue while maintaining the profile of the mouthpiece in the mouth.

The Bombers Ported Pivot distributes pressure evenly over all the structures of the mouth. While this avoids pressure points, it does make the mouthpiece a fairly strong bit. The pressure of the Pivot  is slightly softened however by allowing the sides to work independently and therefore allowing the mouthpiece to act on one side of the mouth at a time. It is well suited to tongue sensitive horses that have difficulty flexing and do not put enough weight in the reins.
