Bombers Drop Cheek Waterford Barrel - Brand new!  The drop cheek cheekpiece is also called a hanging cheek or baucher.

The Bombers Drop Cheek Waterford Barrel combines the stability of a fixed cheek with the flexibility and responsiveness of the Waterford Barrel mouthpiece. Designed to promote a softer, lighter contact, this bit is ideal for horses that tend to lean, fix against the hand, or have sensitive mouths.

The Drop Cheek (Hanging Cheek) design provides a stable feel in the horse's mouth with light poll pressure, encouraging relaxation and improved balance while helping to maintain consistent contact. The fixed cheek also offers clear steering aids, making it an excellent choice for both schooling and jumping.

The Waterford Barrel mouthpiece features smooth, flexible cylindrical links joined by a central barrel. This design wraps comfortably around the tongue, distributing pressure evenly over the tongue and bars while discouraging the horse from taking hold or leaning on the bit. The increased flexibility also encourages mouthing and salivation, promoting acceptance of the contact.

Crafted from Bombers' signature Sweet Iron, the mouthpiece naturally oxidises to encourage salivation and improve bit acceptance, while the stainless steel cheeks provide exceptional strength and durability.
