Bombers Drop Cheek Waterford - Brand new!  The drop cheek cheekpiece is also called a hanging cheek or baucher.

The Bombers Drop Cheek Waterford combines the stability of the Drop Cheek with the flexible Waterford mouthpiece, making it an excellent choice for horses that lean, pull, or become heavy in the contact. This combination encourages the horse to carry itself more lightly while maintaining a consistent, comfortable connection with the rider.

The Drop Cheek (Hanging Cheek) suspends the mouthpiece slightly in the horse's mouth, providing a stable feel and applying gentle poll pressure to encourage softness, balance, and acceptance of the contact. The fixed cheek also offers improved lateral guidance, making it suitable for flatwork, jumping, and eventing.

The Waterford mouthpiece is made up of multiple rounded links that mould to the shape of the horse's mouth. Because the mouthpiece is highly flexible, it prevents the horse from taking a consistent hold or leaning on the bit. When the horse softens and carries itself correctly, the Waterford sits comfortably and rewards a lighter way of going.

Manufactured from Bombers' signature Sweet Iron with durable stainless steel cheeks, this bit naturally oxidises to encourage salivation, helping the horse remain relaxed and comfortable in the contact.
