The Bombers Eggbutt Moulded Mullen is a mild, stable snaffle designed to provide clear, comfortable communication for sensitive or young horses.

• Moulded mullen mouthpiece: The smooth, slightly curved bar follows the natural shape of the tongue, delivering even pressure across the tongue without a nutcracker effect. This encourages relaxation and a consistent contact.
• Eggbutt cheeks: Fixed eggbutt rings offer lateral stability and prevent pinching at the corners of the mouth, helping the horse feel secure and confident in the rein.

Note that the moulded mullen bits are sized in 10mm increments, not 5mm like most other Bombers.  Only the sizes listed are available.

The 105 and 115mm come standard with 55mm eggbutt rings. The bigger sizes are available in either 55mm (bradoon) eggbutt rings or standard 65mm rings. 

The Eggbutt cheek piece prevents pinching of the lips and gives a solid feel against the side of the face. It also prevents the bit being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower than the loose ring and also introduces light poll pressure.

The moulded mouthpiece has been uniquely shaped and flattened. It is angled at 45 degrees to offer an exceptionally soft and evenly distributed pressure over and around the tongue. The internal flexible stainless-steel cable core has been injection moulded with a bespoke non-toxic, UV resistant, flexible synthetic material. The Bombers moulded material has been uniquely developed, to ensure 3 key attributes; texture, durability and comfort.
