Local (NZ) Shipping

We use NZ Post for all local shipping.  As soon as the item is dispatched you will receive an email from us AND from NZ Post with the shipping info.  It may land in your spam or promotions box so please check these regulary or add us to your safe senders list. When the item is delivered you will receive another email from NZ Post confirming this.  If the tracking says 'delivered' and you haven't received it please act immediatly.  Please notify us by email (support@robynstackroom.co.nz) and notify NZ Post. The sooner we can start investigating the better.  99% of the time it has been delivered to a neighbour or put in a safe place on your property - if not, we need to get it sorted asap.

If the online tracking reads Delivered, the courier has dropped off your item, and it is likely to be left in a safe place for you.

We often find that it is best to check:
 

  • If residential:  have a look around your property for areas that may not be easily visible from the road and the courier could've deemed as safe.
  • If apartment / business:  check with reception, the front desk, etc

If you requested a signature, online tracking may be able to provide you with information in regards to who signed for your item.

Please also confirm the right address was used.

If you can not locate the item, NZ Post can look into this further for you.
Please contact us and you will need the following information:

  • Tracking number
  • Address
  • Item description
  • Sender's details

If NZ Post are unable to locate your parcel, they may ask you to contact us again to start the compensation process.

Very important!  Please note that NZ Post has a window of 21 days from the day an item was posted to dispute delivery.  It is essential that you get in touch immediatly (with them and with us) if there is an issue.  If it has been longer than this, and NZ Post declines compensation accordingly, it is out of our hands.  All parcels are fully insured through NZ Post but we must claim within this time frame.
