The Neue Schule Tranz Angled Lozenge Jumper bit is a showjumping favourite that sits your horse on their hocks and helps make tight turns.  Designed for extra control, outline and much more help with straightness and turning. Often the answer for the very enthusiastic horse with a sensitive mouth that may even be prone to rubs, chafing etc. A curb strap may be employed on the top ring for extra control. Often used as a flat work training tool on the main ring to mimic the Baucher.

What is the effect of employing a leather curb strap on the Neue Schule Jumper?

The addition of the leather curb strap reinforces what the rider is asking for. It is often used to promote a better outline, enhance turning and help with downward transitions. The leather curb strap also reduces the maximum amount of poll pressure that can be exerted on the horse by restricting how far back the rein attachment can be pulled.
